I bought myself a brand new Potato Spiralizer! And the first thing I decided to make is a Pakora on a stick! Potato Tornadoes are sold all over the world mostly at street stalls, kiosks and fairs. I tried it for the first time last year on a trip to India and boy did it blow my mind!

In the home kitchen, it’s hard to replicate the size of the tornado as you’d also need to invest in special equipment to dip and fry, so I created a mini version of this that you can easily make in your own home. Potatoes are spiraled, then dipped in a spiced chick pea batter and then deep-fried till crispy on the outside.

In this recipe, I coated the Tornado with a simple pakora batter but you can bet that I will be uploading a lot more Tornado recipes in the future.
