Mix all the Yogurt mixture together and keep aside
In a kadai or pot add the oil and when it’s hot, add in the onion and onion seeds
Add the curry leaves and green chillies
Add in the chicken pieces followed by the chilli & turmeric powder and salt to taste and saute to coat
Add the tomatoes, followed by all the prepared yogurt mixture
Add the water, cover and cook for 15 - 20 mins stirring in between
Add salt to taste
