Beef Cutlets

Ingredients
  

Bread

  • 2 slices soaked and squeezed dry
  • 1 slice fresh Breadcrumbs

Spice Paste

  • 8 cloves
  • 2 tsps black pepper
  • 6 1/2 inch cinnamon
  • 6 cardamoms
  • Garlic - 10 gms
  • Ginger - 10 gms
  • Chillies - 5 gms
  • Onion - 45 gms
  • Juice of 1/2 a Lime

Meat

  • 500 gms of medium ground Beef
  • Salt to taste
  • Spice paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped Coriander
  • Soaked bread
  • Fresh Breadcrumbs as needed
  • Dried Breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Soak the bread slices and squeeze them dry and keep aside
  • Add one slice of bread and make fresh breadcrumbs
  • To make the spice paste add all the whole spices and grind
  • Add the Garlic, Ginger, Chillies & Onion together with the juice of a lime and grind
  • If there are still pieces of the ginger & garlic that aren’t fully pureed yet, add a little of the soaked bread and grind
  • Add this spice paste to the meat after you add salt to taste
  • Follow with the egg, coriander and all the soaked bread
  • Add as much of the fresh breadcrumbs as needed and mix everything in
  • Form these into patties, dip into dry breadcrumbs and shallow fry on both sides till the patties are fully cooked
