Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients
  

Chipotle sauce
  • 186 ml - 6.55 fl oz canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo sauce
  • 2 tsps Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp Clove powder
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsps Agave syrup or Honey
  • 186 ml - 6.55 fl oz Water
Shrimp
  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsps Chipotle sauce
Extras
  • Corn Tortillas
  • Guacamole
  • Lettuce
  • Pico de Gallo
  • Sour cream

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Chipotle sauce by processing all the sauce ingredients together and then boil it covered for 3 - 5 minutes and then allow to completely cool
  2. Add 3 tbsps of this to the shrimp and marinate
  3. Shallow fry the shrimp till cooked for just a few minutes on both sides
  4. To assemble the tacos, heat the tortilla and smear with some guacamole, add some lettuce, pico de Gallo and then the shrimp. Top with sour cream and some chipotle sauce
