Mix all the ingredients together with the meat to prepare the meat mixture
Divide into 4 and flatten each portion and place an egg in the centre and cover with the meat mixture and seal tightly
Heat oil and cook the Koftas in batches making sure they are brown on all sides, remove and keep aside
To prepare the gravy, first mix the yogurt with the salt, ginger and garlic paste, the spices and the fried onions
Heat the oil and add the onion and chilli
Add all the prepared yogurt mixture and cook for 5 - 7 mins
Add the tomato puree, cover and cook for another 10 - 15 mins
Add the extra chilli powder, cashew or almond paste, salt and pepper
Add the Koftas into the gravy and cook for 3 mins on one side, flip over and cook on the other side
Garnish with mint, coriander and fried onions
