Pistachio paste, Chocolate & Kataifi pastry makes this delicious and infamous Dubai Chocolates. While the original is a bar, I’ve made some individual chocolates that are just perfect as a gift or to just enjoy yourself.

“Dubai chocolate” has recently become a global sensation, captivating dessert enthusiasts worldwide. This indulgent treat typically consists of a milk chocolate bar filled with a luscious blend of pistachio cream and knafeh—a crispy, shredded phyllo pastry—resulting in a delightful contrast of creamy and crunchy textures.
The trend originated in 2021 with the creation of the “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” chocolate bar by Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai. Its popularity surged in 2024, largely due to viral exposure on social media platforms like TikTok, where influencers showcased the bar’s unique texture and rich flavor.
