Potato and Sago pearls or Sabudhana are mixed with Ginger & Garlic paste, Spices, Curry leaves, Onion & Coriander.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Sabudhana or Sago pearls
  • 1.5 cups mashed Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger & Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Curry leaves cut with scissors
  • 1/2 cup finely diced Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 cup chopped Coriander

Method
 

  1. Soak the Sago overnight in cool water and then drain
  2. Mix the Sago pearls with mashed Potato
  3. Add all the other ingredients and mix well together
  4. Heat up a waffle iron and spray with oil
  5. Add some of the mixture and pat down and spread with a spatula
  6. Cook each waffle for 10-15 mins till crispy and remove
