As part of my quest to eat healthier, I’ve devised a few recipes, this is one of them. This Tandoori Fish with a warm bean salad is delicious as a dinner as well packs perfectly for lunch.
Tandoori Fish with a warm Bean Salad
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon filets 3 – 4 oz each 85 – 113 gms
- 1 tbsps Tandoori Masala
- 2 tsps Ginger & Garlic paste
- 2 tbsps Yogurt
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp of Mustard oil
- 1/2 cup finely diced Onion
- 1 tbsp minced Garlic
- 1 tsp minced green Chilli
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 540 ml Can mixed Beans 2 cups
- Squeeze of Lime juice
- ¼ cup Cherry Tomatoes
- ¼ cup chopped Coriander
Instructions
- Marinate the fish with the tandoori masala, ginger and garlic paste, yogurt, salt & pepper to taste In a saute pan add the mustard oil Saute the onion, garlic, green chilli, chilli and cumin powder Add the beans, salt to taste and allow the flavours to blend Cook the fish on both sides and once cooked all the way
- Once the beans are cool, add a squeeze of lime juice, the tomatoes and the coriander
- Serve the fish with the warm salad
