Where kebabs are concerned in India, Seekh Kebabs are King. These are available on every street corner all over India. Traditionally cooked in a tandoor, these are a favorite. Recently there has been a Beef ban in most parts of India and Seekh Kebabs are made from Lamb or Mutton meat.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups finely diced Onion
  • 2 – 3 Chillies
  • Salt
  • 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) lean Beef
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp Peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp each of Ginger & Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp each crushed pepper & coriander
  • 2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup diced Coriander

Instructions
 

  • Add Salt to the Onion and chilli and tie in a cheese cloth to strain all the water out
  • Add all the ingredients including the onion to a food processor and process
  • Using a metal skewer, press the meat onto the skewer & grill
