Halloween is upon us, but this time I’m making this recipe for Dia De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead commonly celebrated on Nov 2 for all Souls Day. I love the concept of this celebration as it celebrates the departed souls and invites them to celebrate with the living for one day. Nov 2 is also my birthday and I will be turning 50(OMG).

Before COVID turned our lives upside down, I had planned a big Day of the Dead party but now I have to celebrate alone with these awesome tasty skulls.

Pizza toppings are stuffed into a piece of pizza dough in a skull mold and baked to get this Stuffed skull pizza

You can find the skull pan in my amazon shop – amazon.ca/shop/kravings

You can use store bought pizza dough for this recipe, but I’m going to be making this from scratch for best results.
