Fresh Naan is cooked, topped with Butter Chicken, onions peppers broccoli and cheese and cooked on a tava or griddle for a quick Butter chicken naan pizza fix!

Butter Chicken Naan Pizza

Ingredients
  

Dough – makes 2 pizzas
  • 2.25 tsps dried Yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm Water
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • 2.5 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • Pinch of black Sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsps Flour
  • 2 tbsps Semolina
  • 1/2 tsp Butter
  • 3/4 leftover Butter Chicken per pizza
  • 1/4 cup Onion per pizza
  • 1/4 cup green Pepper per pizza
  • 1/4 cup Broccoli per pizza
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup of Mozzarella per pizza

Method
 

  1. Add the warm water to the yeast with the sugar and allow it to froth for 10 minutes
  2. Sift the flour, add the yogurt, salt and all o the yeast mixture
  3. Add a little water as required and mix everything together
  4. Once mixed, continue to knead by hand adding some oil
  5. Allow this dough to rise in a warm spot for 30 – 60 mins
  6. Once done, add a little flour and knead once again
  7. Divide the dough into 2 and make a disc out of one half
  8. Flour the board with flour and semolina and roll out the dough till it’s about 1/2 cms in thickness
  9. Crimp the edges and add some black sesame seeds
  10. Heat a pan and add some butter and brush all over
  11. Cook the naan on one side and flip over and cook on the other side
  12. Add some onion at the bottom so the pizza base does not directly touch the pan
  13. Add the butter chicken, onions, peppers, broccoli and cover with cheese
  14. Cover with a glass lid and allow the cheese to melt
  15. You can alternatively cook this in the oven
